KAJIAN KELAYAKAN PERMUKIMAN DI KELURAHAN MAESA UNIMA KECAMATAN TONDANO SELATAN KABUPATEN MINAHASA

Settlements are not just a place to live, but developing their functions as psychological, aesthetic, social status, and economic status needs. Therefore, meet the needs of settlements, it is necessary standardize feasibility dwelling. This research intended study for settlements in Maesa Unima sub-district, South Tondano Minahasa district. The method used qualitative research. sub-focus this 1) location conditions, 2) infrastructure facilities 3) environmental improvement conditions through reforestation. Informants were people living village, representatives village government, sub-district district government using purposive sampling snowball methods. Data collection techniques carried out observation, documentation, interviews. results indicate that disaster vulnerability states quite low. cleanliness residential environment clean, there still garbage found on streets. Residential lacking terms inadequate road clogged drainage with soil, access health services easy reach, worship complete, difficult get clean water. Regarding importance reforestation, public awareness good. community has reforestation activities by planting home gardens vegetables, spices, shade trees. In general, area fully met standardization residence.
